Mandarin Chinese Character Stroke Order Rules

Use these as operational defaults while writing by hand:

1. Top before bottom
2. Left before right
3. Horizontal before vertical (when they cross)
4. Outside before inside
5. Close the frame last
6. Centre stroke before wings

Apply them during short handwriting reps after scene encoding.

Usage in This System

• Encode pinyin + tone + meaning first at the radical anchor.
• Then run 2-3 quick handwritten reps using the rules above.
• Record misses in Anki rather than extending one writing session too long.
