Memory Strategy
This is the execution layer that sits above individual mnemonic techniques.
Core Strategy
Section titled “Core Strategy”- Pick a narrow target set.
- Encode with a suitable mnemonic technique.
- Place and index information so it can be retrieved fast.
- Review daily with low-friction reps.
- Test in real recall conditions (reading/speaking).
- Refine based on failures.
Reference Influence
Section titled “Reference Influence”I reference demonstrations by Dr. Yip Swee Chooi as proof that high-density indexed recall is trainable.
The goal here is not to copy one method exactly, but to apply the same principles in a sustainable workflow.
Technique Stack Used Here
Section titled “Technique Stack Used Here”- memory palaces (spatial indexing)
- Major System (number indexing)
- sound and meaning imagery
- language-specific layers (tones, radicals, character decomposition)
- spaced repetition (Anki)
Success Criteria
Section titled “Success Criteria”- faster recall with fewer prompts
- stable retention after delays
- reliable transfer into active language use
